Hillary's Economic Plan: No Specifics, Just a Promise to Pass Biggest Spending Bill of ALL TIME

Yeah, because Obama's shovel ready spend-a-thon worked so well?

Remember when Obama promised that his $trillion Stimulus Bill would put America back to work rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure. "Shovel ready jobs" we were told. Except that Obama had to admit later that "shovel ready was not as shovel ready as we expected." Obama's Stimulus bill blew the lid off the deficit and ended up creating few jobs but at an enormous cost per job.

Obama also promised to work with both sides. Politifact rates that as a promise broken. No better example is there but the time he dismissed the ideas of a visiting GOP Senator saying "I won" I'll do it my way. That's the essence of Obama's idea of bi-partisanship, do his way or else. Does anyone think Hillary would be different?

Here's what Hillary said in the unveiling of her economic "program:"
HILIARY: So let me tell you how we would do that. I believe every American willing to work hard should be able to find a job that provides dignity, pride and decent pay that can support a family.

So starting on Day One, we will work with both parties to pass the biggest investment in new, good-paying jobs since World War II.

We will put Americans to work building and modernizing our roads, our bridges, our tunnels, our railways, our ports, our airports.

We are way overdue for this, my friends. We are living off the investments that were made by our parents’ and grandparents’ generations.
That's not much more than a paraphrase of what Obama said in 2008 and before signing the Stimulus Bill. Can anyone say the results next time would be any different? But you have to hand it to liberals since intentions, not results seem to matter most. And let's not forget that Obama had eight years to come up with a solution and now Hillary is just recycling his failed rhetoric. That's no comfort to the millions of Americans who remain out of work and the lowest labor participation rate since the 1970's!

Contrast Hillary's promise to work on the problem with Trump's detailed speech to the Economic Club in Detroit on Monday. The choice is clear, we either go forward with a new plan, new visionaries or stuck in the same recycled rhetorical nothing burger from the last eight years. American workers can't afford to wait any longer!
