A SUPER Tuesday for Conservative Women

GOP Women sweep races in SC, NV, CA and SD!!

With primaries in 12 states Tuesday, the big news is the surge in victories for GOP women.

First up, Haley's Comet struck SC as Niki Haley squashed her nearest opponent, Gresham Barrett by more than a 2 to 1 margin. However, a runoff may be called since Haley failed to get over 50% in a crowded field unless Barrett concedes.

In Nevada, Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle beat two better known GOP candidates to win the nomination for the senate seat currently held by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

In California, GOP voters picked Meg Whitman as their nominee for governor running against Jerry Brown and Carly Fiorina to unseat Barbara Boxer. Both women are highly experienced business leaders and will have well funded campaigns.

And in South Dakota, State Rep. Kristi Noem took the GOP nomination to run for the state's lone congressional seat.

A big factor in two of these races (Haley and Fiorina) as well as others on Super Tuesday were the endorsements of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Her star power seems to have turned her into a sort of kingmaker. Or should we say queen maker?

I invite readers to learn more about these fine GOP women, as well as our other nominees and begin making the financial contributions NOW that will help these candidates prepare for the fall campaign which is rapidly approaching.
