This is an addition to my post on the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Here is former First Lady Laura Bush who spoke today in Shanksville, Pennsylvania at the site of the crash of United 93:

The heroes of Flight 93 spared the nation further suffering and loss on that awful day by their dedication to live up to the highest calling of what it means to be an American: They laid down their lives to save others. Our Capitol Building, which is such a treasured symbol of our freedom, and the lives of those who work within it are a living monument to the sacrifice of the brave men and women who fought back against evil on that awful day.
Let us honor these brave heroes by our commitment to see this long war through to the bright victory which forever removes the threat which took the lives of these great Americans!
