Playing Politics with Unemployed at Christmas: Rep. Ellison (D-MN) Suggests Creating Crisis

Did you really need more proof that Democrats use the unemployed as a political football?

During a radio interview with Minnesota public radio, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), said this:

ELLISON: “I think that we need to create a real crisis here so that the Republicans will have to answer for denying Americans unemployment benefits on the eve of the Christmas holiday.”
Unemployment benefits for those out of work the longest expired WEEKS ago and Republicans have agreed to extend those benefits in the deal currently before Congress. Yet, DEMOCRATS like Ellison would hold those families hostage to his political agenda.

This is just another extension of Rahm Emanuel's dictum to never let a crisis go to waste. Now they have been exposed wishing to CREATE a crisis. We've seen the fingerprints of Dems who sat by and watched as the Fannie Mae financial crisis took on global proportions but we didn't have a Dem on tape admitting their desire to create the crisis.

Will we now see stories written about Democrats being "The Grinch" or "Scrooge?" Don't bet on it. The usual suspects in the "news" media will just wink and nod at what Dems are doing and continue on with their unprincipled attacks on the GOP just as soon as it suits them!
