Senate Democrat Leader Blocks GOP Bid to Vote Immediately on Obama Jobs Bill

So why does Obama continue to single out Republicans for blocking this bill?

While Obama is out there attacking Republicans like House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (V-VA) for failing to go along with Obama's so-called "jobs bill" with it's massive tax increases and more corrupt stimulus spending to benefit Obama's Big Labor buddies, the President's allies in the U.S. Senate are not so eager to vote on the bill themselves.

GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Tuesday cited Obama's repeated requests to 'Pass The Bill,' 'Right Away,' 'Immediately,' 'Right Now,' 'No Delays' and offered to put the bill up for an immediate vote. While waving a copy of the bill in his hand, McConnell traded remarks with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV):

Senator Reid refused to allow the bill to come up for a vote. Reid complained that McConnell's move was a "political stunt." Yet, isn't Obama's phony "jobs" bill the real political stunt?
