Hillary Gives Sanders' Supporters a Slap in the Face with VP Pick Tim Kaine

She no longer needs the left to get the nomination and leaves them out COLD!

So, Hillary Clinton picks the "safe" choice for her running mate by selecting Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia. He's the ultimate Democrat establishment insider having been the Chairman of the Democratic National Commitee as well as Governor of Virginia. Like Hillary, he's a big friend of Wall Street. There's very little progressive about Tim Kaine. But then, Hillary may feel she no longer needs those people.

Naturally, the left, including Sanders supporters are upset. But then, they are always upset about something. One Bernyite complained “An establishment Wall Street Democrat like Tim Kaine … will do nothing but confirm to progressives she's learned nothing from this primary.” Another said what Kaine's selection means to Berniebots:

"[Sanders' supporters]will understand what it means when their efforts to challenge oligarchy have been met by Clinton's selection of a loyal servant of oligarchy. If Clinton has reached out to Bernie supporters, it appears that she has done so to stick triangulating thumbs in their eyes."

But what are they going to do? Vote for Trump? Not likely. Expect about as many of those crossover votes to stay at home as the few #neverTrump Republicans.

Bernie supporters got an extra kick in the head with the leak of emails showing how hard the DNC worked behind the scenes to benefit Hillary at the expense of Bernie. Jeff Weaver, former campaign manager for Sanders, is demanding someone be held "accountable" for the content of the emails. Sorry Jeff. It's a little late to start talking about Hillary's email problem and accountability? HA!

Grownups among readers here always knew Sanders was a sacrificial lamb. He had no chance against Hillary. As Donald Trump would tell you, the system is rigged. Sanders supporters are feeling a different kind of BURN tonight. Don't say we didn't warn you!

UPDATE: DNC Chair removed as chair of convention.  Debbie Wasserman Shultz, who appears better suited to be a presenter on the Home Shopping Network, has been removed by the DNC as chair of the Philadelphia convention after emails revealed the role DNC staff played in undermining Sanders. It's a highly unusual move the day before the Dem convention begins. But will Sanders' supporters be placated? At the least Shultz should be fired as head of the DNC.

Meanwhile, new evidence comes forward to show how the DNC sought to manipulate anti-Trump protests. No shock there. Astroturf is the Dem's middle name.

And the irony of Dems who only care about emails attacking Sanders but didn't care about emails which revealed some of the nation's top secrets is not lost!
